?WHY not experience something sportingly different this Summer and set sail on Llangorse lake?
Guy Davison from Llangorse Sailing Club said, “The lake boasts its own club run entirely by volunteers. The club’s Open Day is on Saturday May 18 and we’re keen to welcome you.”
Guy adds, “We’ll provide the buoyancy aids. All you need is a set of clothes you don’t mind getting a bit damp, plus a waterproof top, trainers, towel and a change of dry clothes and sun-cream.”
The event is open to children, accompanied by adults. Bring the family or friends, a picnic and make a day of it!?The event is open to guests between 11.30am and 3pm. No booking in is needed, just come on the day.
If you join the club you can sign up to learn to sail and safely drive a powerboat. Training is delivered by RYA qualified instructors. The club runs a very active youth sailing group, with a number of those now being selected for RYA Youth Squad inclusion and possible National team selection. The club runs a full season of racing and sailing. For more information take a look at the club website.
