ABERGAVENNY ace Damian Cole won the REIS Get Connected MSA National Tarmacadam Championship for the third time in succession when he clinched the championship on the Mewla Rally with two rounds still to run in the series.

Cole is the only person to win three back to back championships for the last 15 years.

His Ford Focus WRC has been ultra reliable all season and as well as seizing the crown of overall champion Cole also wins the title King of Epynt for scoring more points than anyone else on rallies held on the Epynt Ranges this year.
