PICTURED is local rider Katie Phelps riding her own home bred KJ Celtic Opposition at the Vale of Usk Riding Club's recent Combined Training (Dressage and Show-jumping) event at Usk Show-ground. Riding for her club Y Fenni RC, Katie was second in her arena with a dressage score of 27.5, clear show jumping, and was third overall. Fellow Y Fenni RC member Sappy Bond was fifth in her arena on her own horse, Oriolis.
