BECKY James's purple patch of thunderous form ignited the crowds in Glasgow last weekend when she picked up two medals in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

The Abergavenny speedster paired up with Great Britain team-mate Jess Varnish to storm to gold in the team sprint and she also bagged a bronze in the individual event.

A triumphant James was delighted with her performance in Glasgow and said, I didn't really know what to expect. It was such a high performance field that was racing, to come away with two medals and a PB in the team sprint with Jess and just to be able to get the chance to race with Jess... it was great to get racing with her again and I'm really chuffed with my performances."
