ONLY seven games into the 2013/14 season and Goytre are already setting the pace and leading the charge on Welsh League Division One.

Their 0-2 demolition job on Ton Pentre makes it five wins out of seven for the newly-promoted Plough Rd side who are sitting pretty at the top of Division One after 111 years of playing the waiting game.

This is Goytre's highest ever placing since their formation in 1902 and player-boss Carl Evans said, "It's been a collective effort and it's great to be top."
