Risca United FC Reserves - 4

WITH Abergavenny Town’s first team without a fixture last Saturday the spotlight fell on the reserves and it seemed they would record a spectacular victory.

Cruising through the first-half they put Risca to the sword, and went into the halftime break with a commanding 3-0 lead.

However, during the second-half they allowed Risca to get back into the game, and in the end had to settle for a point in a 4-4 draw, but a point still secures the reserves a top five finish.

The reserves are without a fixture on Saturday, but Town’s first team play their final home match of the season at Pen-y-Pound entertaining Aberbargoed Buds, so why not lend your support. Kick off is at 2.30pm.
