ABERGAVENNY Town’s reserve side opened their campaign in fine style with an emphatic 3-0 win over Croesyceiliog.

Nathan Davies notched a brace while Michael Davies chipped in with a goal to seal Town’s victory. With Town’s first team travelling to AFC Llwydcoed on Saturday the spotlight remains on the reserves who again enjoy home advantage entertaining Undy Untied.

Meanwhile Town’s table topping youth side, who beat Cascade Youth 2-1 in mid-week with goals from Connor Lewis and Alex Francis, continued their winning ways with an 8-0 demolition of Merthyr Saints when Lance Lewis grabbed four goals and Dan Bowden, Elliot Simmonds, Lloyd Francis, and Josh James all got on the scoresheet.
