RAGLAN Junior Football Club have been given a major funding boost after securing sponsorship from a trio of local businesses.
The U8s have gained sponsorship from Oilfast UK, who have signed a two-year-deal with the club.
The Director of the Raglan based company, Rupert Mills, said, “I am delighted to support a growing and progressive community club, which is getting children out in the fresh air on a weekly basis.
The U7s have gained the support of J.P. Powell Construction.
Local builder John Powell explained, “It’s great to be supporting grassroots football in the village I have grown up in. The club are laying the foundations for the next generation of football players in the area.”
The U9s have also secured the sponsorship of Solutions In Technology. Director Simon Lacey said, “The opportunity to sponsor such an exciting and community club sat perfectly with the ethos of our company. We have been match sponsors at Newport County and will hope Raglan can go on a great cup run too!
Chairman of Raglan Juniors FC, Owen Batty said, “Everybody involved with the club is delighted with the new sponsorship. Without the help and support of the local business, parents, and friends, our club wouldn’t be able to give the children of Raglan and surrounding villages the opportunity of being part of such great teams.”
