Abergavenny Town Girls U12s have cruised to the top of the table after delivering two impressive victories.

In their first game Aber convincingly beat Cardiff Bluebelles 4-0. The goals came from Ruby Gould (2), Macey McCann and Chelleter Graham-Sawyers.

They then ran out 6-0 winners against Treharris. Macey McCann and Ruby Gould both scored hat-tricks.

Abergavenny looked solid at the back with Bella Wilce, Brooke Davies and Cristyn Powell rarely troubled. The midfielders Mia Sherrard, Sophie Engel and captain Chelleter Sawyers-Graham controlled the games from start to finish. Attacking players Carys Pond, Ruby Gould, Tirion Staples and Macey McCann caused chaos upfront in both matches.

Goalkeeper Katie Barker had a very quiet week without having to make a save, but her presence in goal is definitely growing.
