ABERGAVENNY Town Girls Under 13s returned to winning ways with a strong performance against Abertillery.

The girls battled hard In a physical match to win 5-3.

Attackers Ruby Gould (2), Eleri Jones (2) and Meg Welford bagged the goals for the team and created numerous chances.

Midfielders Mia Sherrard, Bella Wilce and Chelleter Graham-Sawyers won the middle of the park and supported the front players throughout the game.

Defenders Cristyn Powell, Bobbi Allcock and Brooke Davies all looked strong at the back. Gracie Grosvenor slotted in between the sticks and showed her abilities throughout.

The girls remain second in the league with a trip next week to Coed Eva.
