THE LOCAL rally crew of Steve Hoskins and Jordan Dziadulewicz recently took part in the Ross Endurance Rally Championship. The rally started in Ross and visited Herefordshire, Gloustershire and Monmouthshire, passing some beautiful countryside along the way. The special test stages took place at stately homes, private estates and forestry. The self prepared 1.4 Rover performed faultlessly and put some impressive times against experienced competitors. At the lunch halt the crew had crept up the leader board to 16th place, unfortunately they suffered from two punctures at two different stages and dropped a lot of time. The night section of the rally was on home ground around the Monmouthshire lanes, Unknown to the crew the car had sustained a lot of damage on the day sections, but they persevered and finished a creditable tenth overall and third in class. They crew would like to thank Abergavenny Brake and Clutch, the guys from ATS Abergavenny, and Station Garage Abergavenny for there support. The crew's next event is in aid of Leukemia Research.
