ABERGAVENNY Firsts’ game against Cardiff Gymkhana need in favour of the visitors.

Batting first Gymkhana were dismissed for 108 with Adam Harrison 2-15, Geraint Leach 3-14, Sam Clarke 2-27, James Watkins 2-17 and one wicket for Lewis Holley. After a solid start chasing a very moderate total, Abergavenny lost Andrew Jones with the score on 36. However 36-0 quickly became- 48-7 as Abergavenny failed to come to terms with conditions and the bowling of M.Karim who claimed 5-16. Abergavenny eventually crumbled to 69 all out. Only wicket keeper Greg Fury (27) and Lewis Holley (22) made any worthwhile contributions.

Both 2nd X1 and 3rd X1 fixtures were cancelled.
