GOVILON were quickly into their stride at Cwmtillery with Dean Morgan opening the scoring after only 10 minutes when he rounded goalkeeper Herridge and gently rolled the ball into the net.

Colin Morgan increased Govilon's lead when his shot from the right wing soared over Herridge, and on the stroke of half time Dean Morgan volleyed home when the ball broke free from a corner.

Govilon continued their dominance in the second half and produced the goal of the match when Craig Norman lofted the ball towards Ben Bannon who controlled the ball on his chest and then fired past Herridge.

The next goal was anything but a classic as Govilon had three blocked attempts in a goalmouth scramble, but it was Bannon again who got the vital touch to just poke the ball over the line to satisfy referee Jenkins that it was a goal.

This was a match where Govilon were in complete control from start to finish, setting themselves up for another away trip on Saturday when they travel to Pentwynmawr Athletic (3.00pm).
