USK Valley Trampoline Club were flying high after picking up medals and trophies galore in the Welsh Trampoline Grades Competition held at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff earlier this month.

Eight-year-old Ffion Snook became the Welsh Champion for the second time in a row, this time in a higher grade, and Ella Travers was the Welsh Champion in the Under 13 age group.

Usk Valley also took second and third placings in this age group with Lois Gould (individual second ) and Zoe Watkins (individually third ).

These three top scorers won the team Gold Medal for the Under 15 Team Event. Rebecca Skinner's marks put her in third place and in line for the Silver Medal for the team, including Megan Adams and Cerys Walsh, although a Bronze Team Medal was awarded to Aimee Wallace, Shannon Llewellyn and Maya Cadman.

In the Under 13 Grade H event individual placings were taken by Jade Rees (second) and Emily Criddle (third) and in the Under 15 Team Event these two girls with team mates Caroline Coakley Aston and Bethan Duckett won the Silver Medal.

There were some other excellent placings at this event – Isobel Knight, Cerys Walsh, Bethan Duckett and Aimee Wallace finished in fourth place, and just missed out on a trophy.
