CONGRATULATIONS to King Henry VIII school's year eight tennis team who recently beat teams from Risca, Crickhowell, Bassaleg, Caerleon, Rougemont and Croesyceiliog to become County Champions.

The team then went on to take part in the South Wales Finals and performed well enough to reach the semi-finals. 

At this stage they narrowly lost on a tie break to eventual winners Stanwell from Penarth but easily beat Cardiff High for third place in the play off.
