BY coincidence Glamorgan captain Mark Wallace celebrated his 200th game for Glamorgan against a Cardiff MCCU side which included fellow Abergavenny Beaver Jon Denning making his first class debut.

Wallace batted well but was caught behind off Denning providing the bowler with his initial first class wicket and his second followed next ball.

Denning carried his bat for 22 in the first innings but didn't bat in the second innings when Cardiff played out for a well deserved draw.

All Beavers past and present trust that both players will have a very successful and enjoyable season.
