LOCAL bowlers Erica Price and Ian Cole were part of the Welsh Para Bowls team which competed in the recent Home Nations indoor bowls event.

Held in Glasgow, Price and Cole, alongside team-mates from West and South Wales battled it out against Scotland and England’s best disabled and visually impaired bowlers over a course of three days.

Although England won the competition overall, Wales came away with a respectable eight points.

Many spectators were particularly impressed with the standard of the bowling.

The next outdoor Home Nations is being hosted by Wales in September.
