IN September, the ladies of Abergavenny Bowls Club organised a Charity Day tournament involving teams from a number of clubs in South East Wales.

The event was held in aid of St David’s Hospice Care and raised a sum of £400 for the charity.

At a recent coffee morning, held by the lady members of Abergavenny Bowls Club, a cheque, for the amount raised, was presented St David’s Fundraising Manager Sally Morris.
