DESPITE the recent spell of sunshine, Abergavenny Cricket Club's first two friendlies against Malpas and Merthyr had to be cancelled last weekend. The Avenue Road ground is still very wet and the club are confident that this weekend's games against Pontymister and Pentwyn will go ahead. Senior training will continue every Tuesday evenings from 6:00 with old and new players welcome. Abergavenny Cricket Club Junior Cricket registration evening will take place on Friday April 18 at 6pm. Why not pop along and meet some of their junior coaching team. There will be a wealth of senior players and coaches that will be managing and coaching their Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 teams the season. Youth night will be every Friday night from 6:00 until 7:30 with regular matches throughout the week. Girls and Boys are welcome with parents and guardians encouraged to come along and get involved.
