CLYDACH Wasps' Scott Ambler secured his side a place in the semi-finals of the Benevolent Cup after he fired in goals during the 70th and 87th minute against Fairfield United to make the Wasps 2-0 winners.
The Wasps will now pay Blaenavon Blues in the semi-finals.
Govilon put in a storming display to win their quarter-final tie against Pilcs 7-1.
Stuart Norman and Luciano Casa scored a brace apiece for Govilon and Kieran Shelvin, Ben Burgoyne and Rhys Whiteman chipped in with solo efforts.
In the other quarter-final Blaenavon Blues beat Tranch 6-5 on penalties.
In the Premiership Division, Pandy finished their league programme on a winning note with a 3-0 home win over Goytre at Lower Meadow.
Paul Assartti fired Pandy into a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute, and Kirk Morgan scored in the 20th and 40th minute to seal the win.
Man of the match was Pandy goalkeeper Gareth Davies.
Match of the day in Division One was last Thursday's midweek clash between second-placed side Tranch at home to league leaders Clydach Wasps.
Early in the second-half Paul Congreve put the Wasps 1-0 ahead, before Tranch bounced back to make it 1-1 in the 60th minute. And that was how it remained for an honours even full-time whistle.
However, the point gained now puts the Wasps in an unassailable position to lift the Division One title.
With games in hand, the Blaenavon Blues maintained their claim on the runners-up spot with a midweek 4-3 away win over Panteg.
With Panteg leading the Blues 3-0 at the stroke of half-time the game really was a match of two halves.
In the second 45 minutes the Blues hit back with a vengeance as man of the match Grant Evans bagged a hat-trick and Luke Watkins netted to make it 4-3 at the end of play.
In midweek the Abergavenny Thursdays slumped to a 4-2 defeat at Pen-y-Pound stadium.
The Thursdays strikes came from Craig Lewis and Shane Barry.
Also in midweek Govilon thundered to a 9-0 win over Race. Ben Burgoyne scored a hat-trick, Stuart Norman and Luciano Casa scored a brace apiece, and Rhys Whiteman and man of the match Paul Sullivan also netted.
Mardy collected maximum points from their midweek trip to Sebastopol by winning the match 7-2.
Daniel Palmer scored an impressive four goals for the Mardy, and Gavin Morris and Huw Llewellyn scored one apiece. Sebastopol also joined the party with an own goal.
Division Two leaders Prescoed completed their season with a 5-2 win over Pontypool Town 'B', following in the wake of goals from Sean Sievewright (2), Michael Taylor, and Robert Neil.
Ponty also obliged with an own goal.
Llanfoist ended their season by losing 5-3 at home to Trevethin 'B'.
Llanfoist's goals came from David Barry (2) and Andrew Ewers.
Finally, Gilwern 'B' held Pontypool Town 'B' to a 2-2 draw after strikes from Alun Jones and Adam Carrington.
