USK Town couldn't live up to the standard of football set by unbeaten Premier Division leaders Trevethin on Saturday as they slumped to an 8-2 away defeat.
The writing was on the wall after Trevethin established a 1-0 lead in the first 20 seconds, and from there on in ran away with the game. Both Usk's goals, which included one from the penalty spot, came from Adam Hutchings.
Goytre also fell foul of another Torfaen side as Pontypool Town narrowly beat them 5-4.
All four of Goytre's goals were scored by Gareth Edmonds.
In the bottom end of the Premier Division, Llanarth thrashed Gilwern and District 6-0.
Llanarth's goals came from a penalty by John Powell, a brace apiece by Colin Morgan and Gavin Phillips and a solo strike by Michael Morgan.
Pandy were held to a 2-2 draw at Lower Meadow by Lower New Inn. Goal scorers for Pandy were man of the match Kirk Morgan and Frazer Millar.
Clydach Wasps have established an eight point lead at the top of Division One after beating PILCS 5-2.
The Wasps goals came via a Scott Ambler hat-trick, and solo strikes by Matthew Williams and Mark Prosser.
Elsewhere in Division One Govilon were beaten by Tranch 2-1. Govilon's solitary goal came from new signing Jason Osbourne.
Abergavenny Thursdays won their derby game against the Mardy 5-1 at Pen-y-Pound stadium.
Thursdays' points came from a brace by Robert Didcote, strikes by Ben Moriarty, David Lambert, and a penalty by Ashley Morgan.
In Division Two Llanarth 'B' made it a club winning double on the day with a 7-3 away win at Gilwern 'B'.
Llanarth 'B's' goals came via a Richard Dwyer hat-trick, and Ray Bond, Ian Thomas, David Dwyer, and David Griffiths all scored one apiece.
The two top teams in Division Two - Prescoed and Trevethin 'B' - finished up all square at 2-2.
Goal scorers for Prescoed were Nathan Rees and Luke Byrne.
The match on 'The Island' between Usk Town 'B' and Pontypool Town 'B' also ended up all square at 3-3.
Usk's goals came from Pat Wong and Atif Thir, plus an own goal by Ponty.
Llanfoist lost their home match to Clydach 'B' 2-0, after Paul Travis scored two goals in the first-half.
