TWO people have been arrested following two burglaries in the Plas Derwen area of Abergavenny.

A 38-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were held on suspicion of burglary, police said today.

They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Police are still appealing for information following the two burglaries.

The first occurred on Plas Derwen View sometime between 9am and 9pm on March 23 Force entry was made and jewellery was stolen. (log 502 23/03/15)

The second occurred on Plas Derwen Way sometime between 5.30pm and 11.45pm on March 24. Again force entry was made and jewellery was stolen. (log 468 24/03/15)
