KING Henry VIII School have been given a gift of 200
euros to assist pupils who may not have the means to
travel on exchanges to Abergavenny twin town,
Ostringen.
The money was raised by fundraising events
organised by Mrs Annaliza Tinkl of Ostringen, who
has been involved and supported twinning and the
relationship between both towns for 40 years.
Andre Arkell of the Abergavenny Twinning
Festival Committee said, "Mrs Tinkle is actively
involved and this generosity demonstrates that
strength of the twinning and what twinning is
intended to be, it demonstrates the bond between
Abergavenny and Ostringen."
