Crickhowell and District’s Pantomime this year, “Trouble in Panto-land” picks up where most others end…at the “Happy Ever After” place where Princes have rescued their Princesses and all is ready for the celebrations and glorious weddings of our happy couples.
And yet all does not seem to be well as the Princes have vanished and an evil wizard aims to take over Panto-land from the wicked queen? Will he succeed, will there be a wedding and will Bert Butterfingers turn out to be the real hero?
You will find out if you join members of Crickhowell and District Players at the Clarence Hall on January 28-30. The show starts at 7pm with a matinee performance on Saturday afternoon.
Crickhowell has been staging its annual panto since 1975 with some 37 performances enjoyed by hundreds of local people.
This year has seen a number of changes with local performer Jacqui Daniell leaving the stage to direct the show.
The company has also been involved in the Crickhowell Literary Festival by part sponsoring a Mad Hatters Tea Party, and also won this years’ dress the Christmas Tree Competition at Cric.
