Abergavenny Town Council is seeking a local artist to paint the three panels on the side of the Bon Marche building in St John`s Street, Abergavenny.

Following the success of the mural on High Street it has been suggested that interest should be sought from local artists to paint appropriate scenes on the three panels in St John`s Street as a celebration of the Queen`s Jubilee next year.

If a suitable proposal is received the council will seek formal approval from the owners of the building (who have already agreed in principle) and the aim will be to formally unveil the finished work in time for the Jubilee celebrations.
