TWO MEN were taken to hospital after they were assaulted on an Abergavenny street last week.

Gwent Police's serious and violent crime team is investigating the assault in Frogmore Street, which happened at around 2.45am on Sunday, June 26.

The two men, aged 21 and 27, were walking on Frogmore Street when its believed they were assaulted by two unknown men. They were both taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport where they received treatment.
