WITH the ‘beast from the east’ set to hit the Abergavenny area with full force, the Borough Theatre has taken the reluctant decision to postpone its traditional St David’s Day concert planned for Thursday.

Liz Davies, chairman of A4B which organises the fundraising event said, “With the weather forecast worsening, we took the difficult decision to postpone the concert as we didn’t want to put either our performers or our audience at risk.”

The concert will now be held on Thursday, April 5 and will feature Blaenavon Male Choir and special guests in a celebration of the very best of Wales.
