The rarefied earth of the Sugar Loaf mountain's summit was recently graced by the feet of an Olympian, as the grunt and groan of Queen's 'We Will rock You' filled the air, and echoed around a makeshift shanty town filled with peculiar people dressed in peculiar costumes.

As scenes go, it sounds strangely surreal doesn't it sir? But please, there's no need to change your medication just yet.

It's chocolate giants Cadburys who are to blame for organising such an event - all in the name of shooting a music video for its 'Keep Singing, Keep Team GB Pumped campaign.'

Olympic hockey player Sarah Thomas stars in the new Cadbury Dairy Milk music video as part of the sweet-toothed confectioners London 2012 Olympic Games sponsorship, which aims to get the nation singing along to show their support for Team GB.

Cadbury recreated aspects of Sarah's home town (Merthyr Tydfil) on top of the Sugar Loaf mountain and as she trains for the Olympics by running solo across the mountain as modern Olympians are prone to do, she is surprised to encounter all her friends and family from her home town, who somewhat bizarrely choose to sing "We Will Rock You" and dress in the garb of bygone days to show their ongoing support for her and the rest of Team GB.

Sarah explained to the Chronicle, "The idea behind the shoot, was that as an athlete I was training on my own in the cold, rugged, and unforgiving terrain of a Welsh mountain, and just as I begin to feel very tired and very lonely, my friends and family appear out of nowhere and begin singing to give me the energy and support needed to carry on."

Sarah who is currently training day in and day out in preparation for London 2012 said, "We got a few bemused looks from ramblers on the day but it was all good fun and added to the excitement of next year."

Sarah, who has spent the last seven years playing hockey in Holland, revealed, "Hopefully if the British hockey team can perform well at the Olympics it'll encourage more youngsters in this country to pick up the stick and find out what a great game hockey is."
