A DRIVER escaped unhurt when a stone was thrown from the bridge at Govilon Wharf, shattering the car’s windscreen.

Police are anxious to find the offender who struck on October 4, a Sunday.

Details of the incident were only released this week.

A police spokesman said, “Thankfully no one was injured but this could have been a lot more serious.”
