Sunday October 10 saw the first of two classical concerts to be performed in St Cadoc’s Church Raglan in the run up to Christmas, writes Beverley Jones.
The Oneira Trio are a flute, viola and harp trio led by the local harpist Emily Harris, who has recently been granted the MMSF Harp Fellowship position with the Philharmonia in London.
The trio members Isabelle Harris (flute), Elliot Kempton (viola) and Emily met while studying at the Royal College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
Emily will also be performing at the next classical concert which is being held in memory of one of Wales’ most distinguished harpists, Ann Griffiths, who passed away in the summer of 2020.
