A FUNDRAISING event organised by three sisters has raised £400 for Cancer Research. Beverly Brown, Vicky King and Liz Cashell (pictured above) staged an evening of musical entertainment at Abergavenny Labour Club in July. Beverly told The Chronicle the night had been a great success with the sisters raising more money than they had been anticipating. "We would like to thank Jason Ball, of the Music Studio, and his band 'The Last Resort', for providing the music, Bar Foods, Keepers Fit Gym, Waitrose, Tesco and Richards for donating raffle prizes and everyone who supported us on the night," said Beverley.
