A second person injured in the traffic collision on the A40 on Saturday night has died at Nevill Hall Hospital.Mrs Mary Marshalll, aged 73 was seriously injured in the collision which claimed the life of her husband David and died earlier today at the Abergavenny hospital.The 44 year old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal road traffic collision on the A40 that occurred on Saturday, July 20 has been released on police bail pending further enquiriesThe road traffic collision, involved two vehicles- a silver Ford KA and a silver VW Golf - travelling in the same direction between Raglan and Abergavenny at approximately 9.30pm. It is understood that Mr and Mrs Marshall, who were travelling in the KA, were returning home after attending a church barbecue. Both were well known members of St Mary's Church in Abergavenny.Vicar, Rev'd Mark Soady paid tribute to them describing them as committed Christians and 'lovely people'. Police are appealing for the driver of a van - believed to be a Ford Transit or similar - which was travelling in the same direction when the collision occured, to come forward.
