DYFED POWYS Police is investigating the theft of lead from a room at a property in Crickhowell.
The crime occurred sometime between February 2010 and October 2010. The offenders have removed the lead flashing from the flat roof at the rear of the Clarence Hall, Crickhowell.
This area is used by a number of motorists / pedestrians and police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspicious or removing lead from the flat roof.
There has been building work carried out there and all legitimate builders have been eliminated from the enquiry. In addition, Dyfed-Powys Police would like to reassure the community that these type of crimes are rare in Powys and the county remains one of the safest places in England and Wales.
