MARDY Tiger Rhian Cleverly has been awarded the prestigious title of U16 Welsh Female Footballer of the Year at a special awards ceremony held at Cardiff Castle last week,
It caps an amazing season for Rhian which has seen her represent her country at both U16 and U17 level throughout Europe in her right back role.
Rhian's club form was also outstanding last season. She not only helped the Mardy Tigers U18 team to their South Wales Girls League Cup victory but she also helped the U16 team win both the Gwent and Welsh Tesco Cups
She also deservedly picked up the Mardy Tiger U18 Player of the Season award.
Tigers' coach Wayne Jeremiah said, "Rhian is a delight to coach and her dedication to her sport is an inspiration to everyone at the club."
