In Round Two of the Open Cup, it was Blues on Blues, as the Blaenavon 'A' team from Division One went head to head and toe to toe with the Blaenavon 'B' team from Division Two.
The stronger 'A' side lead 2-0 at half-time and went on to win the match 7-1.
Goals for the 'A' team came from a James Camage hat-trick, a brace from Richard Williams, and one apiece from Steve White and Craig Harris.
The Blaenavon Blues 'B' side goal was scored by Owen Tucker.
The 'A' side had Grant Evans sent off in the 85th minute.
