A raffle will be held at this week’s Music at the Market event raising money for the mayoral charities.

Abergavenny Town Mayor Tudor Thomas will be raising money for his chosen charities Cyfannol Women’s Aid, KHS Hardship Care Fund and Abergavenny Foodbank, by working in partnership with Abergavenny Round Table who are organising Music at the Market.

He has organised a raffle to run alongside this event with 12 fantastic prizes donated by local businesses. Prizes include Bed and Breakfast for two at the Angel Hotel, an Artist Proof print worth £400 from Martin’s Gallery and a Wine Tour for four people at White Castle Vineyard, as well as many more.

Tickets are £1 each or £5 per book and are available from Cooks Galley, Cable News, The Espresso Bar in Abergavenny Market and the Town Clerk. They will also be on sale at Friday’s event.

The draw will take place at the event so don’t miss out on the chance of winning one of the fabulous prizes.

Music at the Market takes place on Friday October 8 at the Abergavenny Market from 7:30pm to 11pm.
