GWENT police are investigating a fatal collision that happened in King Street, Brynmawr at around 12:25am on the morning of Wednesday, July 26 2017.

Sophie Brimble, 20 of Crickhowell died whilst riding as a passenger in a Volkswagen Polo.

Police are particularly keen to trace the driver and passenger of a car that was in the immediate vicinity of the collision at the time.

This car drove from the area of the collision in the direction of Ebbw Vale, before turning into the car park of the Beaufort Welfare Hall, where a female passenger was dropped off. The car then headed back in the direction of Brynmawr.
