Police are appealing for information after a robbery of a delivery driver on Beaufort Hill, Ebbw Vale on Saturday (July 7).

The incident happened at about 12.45pm. Four men approached the 57- year-old victim, assaulted him and  stole a quantity of cash, bank cards and his coat. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The four men got in to a waiting Black Ford Focus, with a partial registration CK12, and sped up Beaufort Hill towards Brynmawr.

A 28-year-old man from the Merthyr area has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. A 23-year-old woman from the Merthyr area has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
