ANOTHER day, another dollar, and another mindless act of vandalism blights the Gateway To Wales’.

Was this bench in Abergavenny’s Red Square ruined by the heavy hands of mindless oafs with hulk like strength and a misguided idea of what bench pressing actually means? Or was it simply destroyed by someone with poor motor skills?

Either way, it’s a right eyesore and not the sort of thing people want to come across when getting their morning bacon roll and cup of jump juice.

So come on MCC, the ball is in your court. Get off your backside and make a stand so the good people of Abergavenny can return to sitting pretty again.

A council spokesperson is rumoured to have said, “We’re on the case!”
