PEDAL power has raised over £3,300 to be divided between Motor Neuron Disease Association, Bettws Chapel’s ’Raise the Roof’ appeal and St Teilo’s Church Chapel of Remembrance Project.

A 47-mile ride from Brecon Cathedral to Newport’s St Woolos Cathedral was launched with a blessing from the Archbishop of Wales, John Davies at Brecon Cathedral.

Fr Julian Gray, Priest-in-Charge of St Teilo’s Llantilio Pertholey with Bettws Chapel together with members of the congregation, Stephen Bull and Osian Jones, left in glorious sunshine and arrived in Newport eight and half hours later in pouring rain soaked but undaunted.
