THE Abergavenny Writing Festival is back for its second year this weekend.

The aim of the event is to get people together to find inspiration, have fun and get writing. There will be three packed days and evenings of talks, workshops, storytelling, readings and performances at the Kings Arms Hotel and Broadleaf Books, Abergavenny. There will be an eclectic line-up of local talent including poets, songwriters, journalists, storytellers, children’s authors, artists, non-fiction authors, film makers and novelists.

Abergavenny estate agent Christie Residential is sponsoring the event for the second year with The Abergavenny Chronicle as its main media partner and in 2017 the Abergavenny Writing Festival is also supported by Literature Wales.
