SCHEDULED overnight closures of a section of road at Main Road, Blackrock planned for this week have been cancelled at a result of work on the stretch of road being completed ahead of schedule.

" Overnight road closures will no longer be required this week and the short section of Main Rd has now been re-opened," said a spokesman for Costain

"Thank you for your continued patience and support," she added.

It was originally advertised that the stretch of road would be closed from tonight (Monday) until Friday from 8pm to 6am.
