HUNDREDS of people packed Abergavenny’s historic castle last night for the traditional outdoor theatre performances staged by the popular Illyria theatre company.
Promoted by A4B the voluntary support group for the town’s Borough Theatre, money raised during the event is used to improve facilities at the Abergavenny venue.
The three days of al fresco theatre continue tonight (Wednesday) with Illyria’s adaptation of the Gilbert and Sullivan classic Ruddigore - described by the company as ’G and S with Zombies’ and concludes tomorrow with a matinee performance of Danny Champion of the World which helps mark the 100th anniversary of Roald Dahl.
