ONLY one game survived the adverse weather in last Saturday's Gwent Central league fixture list and Llanfoist probably wished it was cancelled alongside the rest after they received a 2-11 mauling from Trevethin.
Man of the match for Llanfoist was Steve Thomas.
The whole of November has been a complete washout for the Gwent Central League with only two games actually being played.
Elsewhere, the Clydach Wasps beat Hay St Marys 4-2 in the Welsh FA Trophy competition to earn their place in the quarter final draw.
The Clydach Wasps goal scorers were Roddy Arnold, James Hapgood, Nick Francis and Jordan Jones in what was a good all round team effort.
