IT’S once again time to recognise the unsung heroes of Abergavenny with nominations invited for the annual Abergavenny Town Council Community awards, presented in partnership with The Abergavenny Chronicle.

The awards recognise the achievements of local people within the town council area and the invaluable contribution they make to the community and are presented each year by the outgoing mayor as one of her final official duties.

Nomination can be submitted until Friday, April 22 when a panel made up of the town mayor, Chronicle editor and town clerk will meet to select this year’s winners.
