I AM writing with regard to all of Abergavenny, but
especially regarding the situation at Castle Meadows.
Almost no one who exercises their dogs on the
'designated dog walking area' picks up their furry friend's
poo because there are no bins! Why are there no bins?
Perhaps the money spent on the new signs could have
been spent on somewhere to put all the poo?
Even poo bins located at all the entrances to the meadow
would be better than nothing. What is MCC policy about
dog poo? No one wants to walk the 3,500 steps around
the lovely meadows swinging little green bags of poo - so
no one does! Instead the grass areas are littered with poo
which spoils the area for everyone.
As a dog walker, I want to be able to pick up my dogs poo
and put it in a poo bin!
