TWO more high profile performers have been secured to play at the Breakin' Out Festival which is set to take place at Bailey Park on June 16.

Breakin' Out is an urban music festival for young people aged between 11 and 25 and festival headliners include Tinchy Stryder, the Abyss Dance Crew and Charlotte René.

This week event organiser Sharon Lewis confirmed that headliners Skepta and Chip AKA Chipmunk will be appearing on the main stage

The event is being organised by Sharon with the support of local community groups and council officers Dan Davies of the Monmouthshire Youth Service and Lisa Knight-Davies of the council One Stop Shops.

Dan Davies said: "On the main stage there will be a mix of Grime, D&B, Hip Hop, Dubstep and Dance. Stage two will feature local bands and stage three is open mic, so you can showcase your talent!

"This is about working with young people where they are at and we think it's going to be an event Abergavenny will not forget.

Lisa Knight Davies said: "We've got local sixth formers being trained as stewards for the day and we'll have local talents showing what they can do. This has happened because of the way the community has got behind the event and it's going to be fantastic."
