A MISSING woman was found safe and well 24 hours after being reported missing from her home in Govilon.
Jessie Jones, 76, was discovered by a farmer from Upper Llanover early yesterday afternoon (wed, ap 29) after spending the night on a hillside in the cold and rain.
Mrs Vicky Williams, of Hendre Glyn Farm, heard there had been a sighting of Miss Jones in the vicinity.
She clambered on to her quad bike and went in search of the missing pensioner who police had voiced concerns about because of her dementia problems.

Police issued an appeal for the whereabouts of the "misper" at 10.45am on Tuesday.
Later in the day officers called in the Abergavenny area's Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) to help with the hunt at midday on Wednesday.
Teams of specialist volunteers attached to the Longtown-based unit combed the hillside near the Goose and Cuckoo pub at Upper Llanover.
A little later it was learned that Miss Jones had been found just before 3pm.
A spokesman from MRT said, "Mrs Williams heard there had been a sighting of the missing woman near her farm so went she out on a quad bike to search for her.
"She raised the alarm and Longtown MRT went to meet Miss Jones with a stretcher and medical aid."
Hazel Highfield, search manager from Longtown MRT, added, "Thanks to the vigilance of a local farmer this search ended happily.
"Miss Jones had spent the night on the hillside in rain and very cold temperatures for this time of year.
"We are all relieved she is safe and delighted for her family."
