A 37-year-old man from the Abergavenny area was reportedly detained by off duty NPT PC Ford, last night.

It was reported via Gwent Police's Monmouthshire Officers Twitter, near 8pm on April 24 that the male was arrested by A Relief Officers after being wanted for numerous offences including burglary, theft and court order breaches.

The individual has been charged with 17 offences, including shoplifting and breaches of criminal behaviour orders. He has since been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court.
