GWENT Police has charged a man in connection with an incident at an Abergavenny nightclub on New Year's Eve 2010.

The 23-year-old Abergavenny man has been charged with making threats to kill and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence at Love nightclub in Nevill Street.

He has been released on bail and will appear at Newport Magistrates' Court on June 30.
